The state capital is easily and comfortably accessible by train: The train station is only a few minutes' walk away from the central Waltherplatz.
ATTENTION! Since the beginning of May 2014, the restricted traffic zone in the center of Bolzano has been monitored by a videocontrol system. Follow the signs to the public car parks and be careful not to drive past the video-monitored gates to avoid appropriate sanctions. The electronic parking guidance system at the city's main hubs informs about the free parking spaces in the various car parks in Bolzano.
Coming from the south Motorway exit Bolzano Sud and parking at the Bolzano fair (1300 parking spaces). The car park is connected to the center approximately every 15 minutes by bus. Even faster is the train, which leads from Bolzano south to the central station in just 3 minutes.
Coming from the north Motorway exit Bolzano Nord and car park Bolzano center in the Mayr-Nusser-Straße (1200 parking spaces), only 5 minutes from Waltherplatz.
From the west, state roads No. 42 and 38; Parking near Stadthalle in the Reschenstraße (500 parking spaces). Approximately every 10 minutes connected by bus to the center.
It is recommended to arrive via the motorway A22 (exit Bolzano Nord and Bolzano Sud). Then follow the signs for the parking garage Bolzano Mitte P8 in Mayr-Nusser- Strasse .

Delivery and collection can be done directly at the castle. Please note: The actual parking is in one of the nearby parking garages . The parking Maretsch is located directly adjacent to the castle. The pitches are limited.
Please note: Trucks, Sprinters etc. can not be parked on the grounds of Schloss Maretsch . It is recommended to park these in the Maretsch car park (2 € / h weekdays, 1 € / h public holidays or 8:00 pm - 7:00 am) or in the surrounding parking garages.
