Since 2015 Beer Craft is a gathering of beer enthusiasts who, above all, revisit and revive the craft of brewing beer. It is aimed at all those who are interested in the subject of beer in any form or who would like to be inspired by it.
Nestled in a vast vineyard landscape and with a magnificent panorama of the garden of roses, we find Maretsch Castle in the centre of the city of Bolzano.
It dates back to the 12th century. The oldest tower of the castle was built in 1194 by Berthold von Maretsch - one of the plenipotentiaries of the Counts of Tyrol and a judge in Bolzano. In the 1980s, the complex was gently renovated.
Now it serves primarily as a trade fair, concert and event centre and can be reached on foot from Bolzano in just a few minutes.
In the center of Bolzano, Maretsch Castle where beer culture will be shown in a new light with numerous exhibitors and beer varieties from home and abroad.
The craft beer movement has found a heart in South Tyrol.
